Community Engagement with Rescue of Dignity

Dear Residents,

Southall Broadway Safer Neighbourhoods Team had the privilege of taking part in a Street Community Engagement event at the UCKG Help centre alongside Rescue of Dignity (ROD) Prison support, an organisation dedicated to supporting prisoners and ex-offenders and their families as they rebuild their lives promoting rehabilitation and reducing reoffending.

It was a valuable opportunity to engage with members of the community, partner organisations and charities such as Universal Access Point who offer support with Homelessness, Emergency shelter and Emergency food provision. Events like these highlight the importance of collaboration between policing, charities, and local organisations in helping individuals successfully reintegrate into society.

A huge thank you to everyone at ROD and Universal access point for the warm welcome and for the incredible work they do everyday. Together we can continue building stronger communities through compassion, partnership, and positive engagement.
